Generation of the city è un progetto fotografico di Paolo Grassi sviluppato sul tema del rapporto fra la città e l’uomo. L’uomo come costruttore, generatore della città e nello stesso tempo fruitore.
Le opere che fondono la trama del tessuto urbano con le azioni delle persone sono realizzate con la tecnica fotografica della doppia esposizione. Il primo scatto fotografico è fatto sulle forme della città mentre il secondo scatto ha per oggetto l’uomo. Generation of the city is a photographic project by Paolo Grassi developed on the theme of the relationship between the city and man. Man as a builder, creator of the city and at the same time user.
The works that merge the plan of the urban pattern with the actions of the people are made with the double exposure photographic technique. The first photo shot is made on the forms of the city while the second shot is about the man. Le fotografie di questo progetto sono stampate carta fotografica cromogenica ai sali d’argento che offre un’eccellete resa cromatica. Le opere sono montate su pannello rigido per incorniciatura.

The photographs of this project are printed chromogenic photo paper with silver salts that offers an excellent color rendering. The works are mounted on a rigid panel for framing.
